  • The Duke of Wellington Archive  - The papers of Arthur Wellesley, first Duke of Wellington, held at the University of Southampton.
  • English Heritage - Archives and Collections  - A guide to English Heritage's range of historic collections of paintings and archaeological artefacts relating to its sites, and the National Monuments Record (NMR), a public archive covering the historic environment of England.

  • NERC Open Research Archive  - Central repository for published material such as academic papers or reports that have resulted from research funded by the Natural Environment Research Council.

  • NRCD Archive  - The National Resource Centre for Dance at the University of Surrey maintains a reference collection and a number of special collections covering dance development and activity in the UK.
  • Oxford Text Archive  - Collects, catalogues, preserves and distributes digital resources for research and teaching; with an online catalogue and details of their services.
  • Play Archives  - A guide to archive collections held by the National Children's Bureau's Children's Play Information Service (CPIS).
  • The Public Record Office of Northern Ireland  - Official archive for Northern Ireland. Details of how to research the archives and the fees involved for certificates and wills.
  • Railways Archive  - Extensive online archive of documents tracing the history and development of Britain's railways.
  • Scientific Archivists Group  - Lists the events, goals and news of this group for scientific archivists, and presents information on their bi-annual journal.
  • Scotland and Medicine  - A collection of links and guides to medical and health archives held in Scottish institutions.
  • UK Archiving  - Offers microfilming, digitisation, and disaster recovery services for libraries, newspapers and other clients; includes a catalogue and contacts.
  • UK Data Archive  - Acquires, preserves and disseminates current and historical social and economic data. Includes data catalogue and user guides.
  • UK National Archive for the History of Computing  - Manchester based repository for documents and images of computer history. Contains a guide to the collections, and annotated links to other sources.
  • UK Web Archive  - A collaborative project by the British Library and other "legal deposit libraries" to preserve websites in the UK domain. Describes the project and its capabilities, with browse and search facilities, themed collections, and a FAQ.
  • Wellcome Library  - Contains collections of books, manuscripts, films, and paintings, chronicling the history of medicine. Provides a user guide, with information about events and exhibitions.
  • The Women's Library  - London archive housing an extensive collection of women's history. Details of collections, visitor information, events and services.
