A home visiting/befriending scheme for older people living in the Reading Borough. Volunteers make visits on either a weekly or fortnightly basis for around one hour to people who have requested befriending services in their own home.
Feed A Friend
Offers a service to enhance the quality of life of older people who live alone and have limited or no social contact, by offering companionship and support, usually by visiting them regularly at home with the offer of conversation, cake or a small meal.

The successor to the Older People’s Partnership (ROPP) and is the group of statutory and voluntary organisations with responsibility for considering strategic issues around health and social care and providing direction on joint planning for older people’s services.

A charitable club where (mainly) older people meet to socialise together over projects in wood and metal and learn new skills.
