1st Military Working Dog Regiment

Special Air Service Reserves
Special Air Service Reserves (SAS (R)) comprising of 21 SAS(R) and 23 SAS(R) were formed in 1947 and 1959 respectively. SAS(R) are tasked to the highest level and can operate in difficult and often changing circumstances, sometimes in absence of guidance and within situations that have significant operational and strategic importance.
Special Boat Service (Reserve)
The SBS(R) offers a unique experience and opportunity for selected individuals to serve with their regular counterparts. Only candidates with military experience will be eligible. SBS(R) are located throughout the UK, but training is carried out in the South of England.
Special Forces (Reserve)
United Kingdom Special Forces Reserve UKSF(R) comprising of 21 SAS(R), 23 SAS(R), SBS(R) and 63 (SAS) Signals Sqn (R), is tasked to the highest level and can operate in difficult and often changing circumstances, sometimes in absence of guidance and within situations that have significant operational and strategic importance.
Special Forces Signals (Reserve)
63(SAS) Signal Squadron (Reserve) provides the Military Reserve Communications and Information Systems capability required to enable UK Special Forces Reserve Operations in support of the Governments Foreign Security and Defence Policies.
