Brentwood Hotels by IHG

Here is a list of items that I don't see and deal with at other Holiday Inn properties: 1) Elevator is in poor condition making mechanical noises when reaching the third floor. 2) Had to call outside service to operate internet. Never had to do that in any other hotel. 3) Wallpaper was peeling off several walls in the bathroom. 4) Phones were impossible to use with the static in the lines. Had to use my cellular phone. 5) Location of the TV was impossible to see in other areas in the room where there was furniture. 6) Being an rewards member, why am I asked to pay deposit charges when I check in. Loyalty means nothing?

This was probably the worst hotel experience I've had since renting a cheap motel in college. The shower curtain was ripped, the towel I used was ripped, there was no water pressure on the shower due to the ring on the shower head that controls the spray type being broken off, which I had tore attach and fix to actually be able to use the shower. the mini fridge froze the turkey I was planning to use for lunch solid. The A/C was extremely loud and made a rattling noise that made it impossible to sleep, then said A/C/Heater started emitting a gross smell so I stopped using it altogether. The walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything, so if people were talking in the hall it was like they were in your room. The guest directly above us decided it was his prerogative to stomp on the floor starting at 11pm until well after midnight, while what sounded like a big dog constantly made a scratching noise like it was trying to dig through the ceiling, then the guest right next to us blasted their TV at 6am every morning at full volume to wake my wife and I up after barely getting 5 hours of sleep. I don't expect a crazy 5 star hotel experience at the holiday inn, but at the very least I'd expect $200 a night to mean I at least get a good nights sleep and a quiet room. I had a follow up stay scheduled for the following week but I'm going to cancel that because I can't stand the idea of having to spend 4 more nights of fighting to fall asleep.

The service was great. Rooms very clean nice staff will stay again.

5 Star will definitely stay again but price is a bit high for seniors or we would have stayed another night.

Was never able to find the way of turning the shower head on. No shower curtain.

My daughters wedding was in this town, the hotel seemed the closest and affordable to us, the experience was completely unexpected, the staff provide us with a 5 star service since the moment we came into the property and that is a big plus!

The room was clean and new. The staff was great. I would recommend this to everyone.

This Holliday Inn Express is located in a small town. We didn't think we would receive 5 star style of accommodations here. This Holliday Inn Express throws out the red carpet to everyone, the staff and the room were as nice as any big city hotel. If your in Brentwood California stay here, you won't regret it.

Food was not that good.
