The hotel is clean and very well maintained. My room was rather compact but very well designed, so the size was not an issue at all. The bed is super comfy, I normally need one night to adjust to the new bed, but it wasn't the case this time. Everything is controlled via tablet provided in your room, being fully automated, including blinds, TV, air conditioning and light. I loved the one click options for sleeping, evening etc, which shuts the blinders and turns light down or off, even turning down blue light on TV. The only complaint is lack of fridge and kettle, but these can be found only in old school hotels these days anyway. There is a safe and plenty of storage space. Power sockets are also plenty and well placed. The location is great with many theatres, comedy clubs and restaurants around and easy public transport. There are two big supermarkets nearby, tesco express which is the biggest express tesco I ever seen, and sainsbury local which is also huge. Maybe things in Glasgow are just a bit bigger. If you are given a choice of a room with a city view or a courtyard side, go for the latter. It's very quiet.Report
The hotel had a great room design in particular. The fact that we could control everything with a tablet seemed very high quality. However, the room cleaning was not that good. Considering its location and price, it was a very preferable hotel.Report

Nice and comfortable room and service also very interesting iPad system but there are no parking spaces that only negative postReport
Check-in was via the 'smart computers/self service, which broke. We then had to wait to be served manually by which time a queue had formed, so not the best first impressions.Report
The rooms are clean and modern with WiFi available. However there are no tea/coffee making facilities available in the room. In the hotel info it says there are water and tea making facilities available in the restaurant. It's not made clear that though the water may be free you have to pay the sum of £3.20 for a cup of tea! I don't think I've ever paid that much for a cuppa in my life.
Location was great for being in the centre of Glasgow, lots of shopping right by the hotel and lots of choice for eating out.
I wouldn't stay at this hotel again unfortunately, simply due to the lack of tea/coffee.

Report
