Plymouth Hotels by IHG

I am giving this hotel 2 stars only because of its poor construction quality-the noise and vibrations transmitted through the walls and floor. When someone walked by my room, I could feel the ground was vibrating. I certainly did not have a sound sleep. In the morning, someone slammed the door and the vibration transmitted to the bed. I almost jumped out of the bed as if there was an earthquake.

The front desk staff was super friendly, though. I was offered an unprepared room first, and then I had to go down again to change a room. The hotel was clean, but the vibration was unbearable.

Clean, Professional, lodging, with good parking.

We flew in to BOS airport and took a car rental to Plymouth. Our in-laws there are in their final stages of life and having this visit UN-eventful with Holiday Inn was fantastic. Its a cozy place with all the amenities of all the larger hotels. A clean and fresh bed was so welcomed. The room looked new like the larger hotels. I do like the access to purchase something to drink or eat in the lobby fridge a good benefit. Oh, the coffee in the lobby is free.

The filters in the heating system were filthy. Due to covid, These should be cleaned after each guest. I had to clean them in the tub. It made me think what else was not wiped down? The pool was like ice but they insisted it was 80 degrees by law. I had ants everywhere in my room and when I told the woman at the desk on Sunday she told me to wait until management came in on Monday. I do not understand why they couldn't come in and spray right away? When I told management on Monday they took $25.00 off my bill. ( Big deal) Those ants had me phantom scratching myself for two days! NEVER AGAIN!

Overall the place was nice.
My room did look like it was remodeled, but the bathroom had some pieces that was coming off the wall.

Great way to take a moment from the family, for a little reprieve.

The Holiday Inn Express was a wonderful experience! We reserved our room for the weekend of the Thanksgiving Parade and were very pleased for the location, cost and service. Highly recommend!!

Great location. Very clean. Staff was very helpful.

Booked my room weeks in advance for a wedding. When I showed up, I was told they gave my room away. I was not allowed to check in until 3pm and showed up at 3:30pm and they said they weren't sure I was going to make it even though I already reserved with my credit card on file. They did not attempt to contact me to tell me and I ended up having to drive back to Rhode Island after my friends wedding. They told me they would have but didn't my contact info, then when I showed them they had my phone number and email they didn't know what to say. If you are relying on a place to stay, I would not choose here unless you have a backup. I tried to work things out with the manager to justify their actions but they would not accommodate me. Ended up being late to my friends wedding trying to find another hotel but they were all booked for the night. They should be ashamed of themselves.
