Personally was I staying in Room 41. This was the worst room I have ever been. Already when you open the door you will smell a very strong moldy smell. While preparing for the night, I left the door open as the smell was so bad. I slept in full clothes and – after a few days – the smell was still on the clothes, so that I threw them away (thought about to just clean them, but the odor was really disgusting)
I went to the check in counter and informed, that I would not be able to stay for the originally 3 nights. She told me that I can check out, but they would charge me for 2 out of 3 nights. But today, 4 days later, I notice that the full amount was charged I have not even received an invoice (although it was promised to get one by email). Btw, when I confronted the checkin lady about the smell, she just said she knew – without anything else.
unless you play Golf it really is in the middle of nowhere.
Breakfast needs reservation and omelett was burned

Left the property with in half an hour of being there. The room was absolutely vile, unhygienic and not acceptable to sleep in. After finding hairs covering the bed and bathroom floor I then went to reception to explain and to notify them that I will not be staying in the room and I would like refunding. The manager Graham was not capable of refunding. He was also incapable of dealing with the situation becoming aggressive and assaulted me on video. After agreeing that the have overcharged me for the wrong room at reception the hotel stated they can not refund I was so they decided to take £132 of my money and leave me stranded for the night. I Left the property at 1am due to not wanting to be there any longer feeling very frustrated and robbed and had no other option than to stay in the back seats of my car at the local service station which indeed was a lot cleaner and safer than the hotel room sold. Its now two days later and im still without a refund or reply from booking.com.Report
Do not stay here unless you would like to catch an illness from the falsely advertised room provided and then have to deal with aggressive, incompetent staff which will not refund you.
Several rooms not ready at time of check in, obviously need to employ more housekeepers when hotel heavily booked up to enable turn around of rooms, this is when cleaning standards drop & my room was clean, but far from spotless. Shower curtain far too long for the shower, which is extremely dangerous (tripping hazard) & very unhygienic. The shaving mirror was at a ridiculous height & broken. Went for breakfast at 10 & hardly anything left & no sign of them replenishing it.Report
extra money asked for getting room 2-3 hours before although rooms available.||while checking out , by courtesy due that i paid hotel on arrival. they ask 100 pound extra for an assistance pet.||never again will return to them .||booking done at booking .com , to pay extra money of 120 pound on a stay of 270 pound is outrageous .Report
