Excellent technical advice and parts supply. Thanks particularly to Trevor who was able to give me several options for repairing/replacing my wheeled strimmer. Friendly and professional - totally recommend GLC if you need garden machinery.

Took my order, took my money. Five days later emailed to say the part wasn't in their stock and that it would arrive at their premises another five days later and that I would have to wait a further few days before it would be posted to me. I asked for a refund. 28.11.24, I've just had a reply that contains more farm effluent than one of their compost bins .

Ordered 2 X pinion cogs for my Weibang. They were delivered in under 24 hours later. Faultless service. I'll go nowhere else now.

I phoned this place as I wanted help to release a nut that was holding my lawnmower blade in place. The reception I received was not great. As soon as the chap on the phone heard that I'd bought my lawnmower from Argos it was as though I was the lowest of the low. He went into one about how they were rubbish and that you couldn't get parts for them etc etc.
I'm quite happy with my lawnmower, I just wanted help to take the nut off so I could change my blade - a part for my Argos lawnmower that I'd easily obtained.
I contacted another local company called Walkergate and Parkside who were really helpful and removed the nut for me the same day. They didn't even want paying but I gave them money anyway.
I'm not giving you a 1 star as I expect you probably provide a decent service to anyone with an expensive lawnmower. But you do need to consider how you speak to people.

I spoke with Ged earlier in the week in relation to a surging issue with my Hayter petrol lawnmower.
He was extremely helpful, taking time to offer advice in relation to the issue and identified a genuine replacement carburettor for my model.
I ordered the new carburettor at a competitive price and it arrived the following morning.
I fitted the new part today, serviced the machine and it is now running really well! Thank you
