I want to write a review to explain a little bit more on the service for potential customers, having thoroughly explored multiple different options and companies I decided to go with SmoothSale. a few things I would want everyone to know before contacting a company like this is the following:
1 - you don't get the full value for your house (otherwise estate agents wouldn't exist)
2 - The service is free - but because you are not getting the full value you will get slightly less than what you would walk away with after all the normal costs, but you have no outlay.
I contacted Smoothsale initially in early October. I was sent an email straight away confirming someone would contact me straight away, which they did. We had a conversation about the property I ran through the details of my house and received an initial offer over the phone straight away that was followed up in writing. The offer was around 80-85% of market value for my house.
I decided to proceed with this offer straight away, Smoothsale promptly started the process and began work on it, they arranged a visit to my house for an independent valuation to be done, this was done by local agents in order to give a fair valuation of my property. While this was happening they put me in touch with a solicitor who collected some paperwork and information from my.
After around 8 days SmoothSale had all the information they needed to confirm the final offer on my house. They called me and talked me through all the information they had on the property, the market, the legal check so I was able to make an informed decision. I found it great how transparent they were with me with all this information.
I was happy with the final offer that was produced, so we exchanged contracts the same day and I gave them a day I wanted to move out the property and complete on. We completed on that day with no hiccups what so ever.
In my opinion they are the best company who will stick to their word and work tirelessly to help.
The only reason I'm not scoring them 5* is because the price we received was lower than I could have got if I was prepared to wait on the open market for 6 months or so.

Smoothsale were particularly attentive when it came to helping me sell my property. I was very cautious as it was such a huge decision to make, one of the team actually came to visit my house and talked me though exactly how it would work and guided me along the way. The process ran smoothly (even though i made a few mistakes with the paperwork) they helped me get it all together and were very patient with me. Special thanks to Max for helping me and doing exactly as promised.

I contacted SmoothSale around 2 and a half weeks ago as i had i had a property i was looking to sell. I had the property on the market with a local estage agent for a while with no success. I spoke to Zak who was really helpful and knowledgable about the area and overall market. The conversation gave me the confidence i was dealing with the right company. Zak made me an initial offer over the phone which i was happy to accept. They then arranged for an agent to come out to the property to do a more in depth valuation. I filled in some paperwork and provided ID's. A few days later, Zak was able to confirm the offer and we exchanged contracts the same day. Just to make everyone aware, the offer you get from these companies is lower than what you can acheive by leaving on the market with a local agent. However, the do cover all the costs assositated and the speed and ease of the whole process made the slightly lower price worth it. Money in my accounts only 2 weeks after my first conversation with SmoothSale. Very happy!
