Love Wedding Photos And Film

I first discoverd Love Wedding Photos and Film when a old school friend shared her wedding photos on instagram. They were amazing, so natural and not heavily edited - which I think can be hard to find these days. At this point we weren't even thinking of getting married but I thought if we ever do, that's who we need to take our photos.

Fast-forward 4 years later and we did decide to get married and Love Wedding Photos and Film were the first booking we made after the venue. I can honestly say it was the best choice we made. From booking in with them, the wedding day itself to getting our photos back, they were so professional and easy to deal with.

We had a super low key, outdoor wedding with just 9 guests. For us, our wedding was about making our relationship legal, in front of our closest family members and when I look at our photos, that's what Jonathon captured perfectly. My husband hates getting his photo taken however, Jonathan's relaxed, laid back style really put him at ease and we managed to get the best happy smiles out of him.

We ordered prints and an album afterwards and the quality of both is fantastic, therefore I would highly recommend these too.

Brides to be, I'd urge you all to use Love Wedding Photos and Film, they are just awesome and you won't have any regrets because wedding photos should be done right, which these guys do.

Right from the first contact made Jonathan went above and beyond the service given. We were absolutely delighted with the photographs and we still haven't made up our minds which ones to order as all of them were great and just what we wanted. On the actual day we didn't want any fuss and taking the photographs was exactly that. Just like old friends going for a wander around the Royal Mile, having a laugh, taking some pictures which all turned out way beyond our expectations. Both Jonathan and Claire were very friendly, helpful, professional and made the whole experience fun when it could have been quite daunting. Being a Friday night, if we could have, we would have gone for a drink with them afterwards! Would recommend to anyone. Thank you again! x

Jonathon was an absolute gem on our wedding day and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He was professional, clever and made everyone feel at ease. The photos were absolutely beautiful. Several family Members and friends commented that the photos “looked like they were just out of a magazine”, which was due to Jonathon’s talent and experience. We also received a sneak peek by the next day, and the rest of the photos the following week!
I would also like to mention that he provided us a very last minute and very discounted videography (tripod) service as my mom, family and friends were all in Canada due to Covid19. I was concerned that the zoom call would malfunction (which it did!). We were impressed with his editing skills as there was a bit of chatter in the background of the zoom call during the ceremony and he manage to remove pretty well all of it.
To sum things up: Jonathon did an all around brilliant job, we are so pleased with his services and we would certainly recommend him to anyone!

We have just had the most fantastic experience with Jonathon last week at our Edinburgh City Chambers ceremony. We booked with him earlier this year and straight away felt at ease communicating regularly via email. He was happy answering questions at length and never made us feel like we were bothering him, always replying within the day. Unfortunately our wedding fell during the pandemic and for a long time we were unsure if it would go ahead, but Jonathon was patient and encouraging and assured us that he'd be ready to shoot our wedding at only a days notice if required. On the day he attended earlier than planned, as requested by us, at a moments notice and was friendly but professional throughout the day. We felt totally at ease and he went above and beyond to make sure we got the images we had dreamed of on our special day! Edinburgh holds a special place in our hearts and Jonathon captured it beautifully! We could not recommend him highly enough...he literally made our day and gave us memories we'll cherish forever. We were married on the 30th November 2019, and Jonathon and Claire did the photography and wedding video. We are so absolutely grateful and would 100% recommend them to anyone. We didn’t even notice that they were there throughout the day and night, but all the photos prove that they were ???? They captured beautifully natural and candid moments of our guests and with our guests. My family could not make the journey from Australia, so it was essential to choose people who were professional and reliable. My family loved watching the video, as did we. From the very first contact we had with Claire and Jonathan we felt relaxed and in safe hands. They were responsive and open with us from the start. I'd already fallen in love with their videos (crying at other people's weddings) so it was an easy decision to go with them for my own wedding.
We prioritised a video over photos and I'm so glad we did. We got the package which includes the highlight video so we have feature length (for anniversary watching!) and a brilliant highlight video that we've loved sharing with family and friends. I really loved that we could pick all the music for it. It makes it so much more personal.
On the wedding day Claire and Jonathan went with our flow and captured so many beautiful moments that we will treasure forever.
We were sad to say goodbye when they left the wedding! Thank you so much Claire and Jonathan. We 100% recommend Love Wedding Photos and Film.

Jonathon photographed our wedding in Edinburgh last year, capturing the ceremony beautifully but also capturing the magic of the hotel, The Dome and George Street at Christmas. He was patient with our requests and now we have a fabulous memory of our day.
